Responsibility:
  • 1. Implementation of new MIS System
  • Understand the primary inputs, data sources and database structure
  • Oversee and ensure smooth functioning of MIS updates, standards procedures at the clinic level
  • Introduce MIS at all service delivery points and ensure quality of data
  • Coordinate with respective Clinic Managers to ensure on-time data inputs
  • Update software for Field Staff as deemed necessary
  • Maintain MIS related activities on a regular basis and report to NHSDP
  • Oversee ongoing MIS processes according to the correct protocols, and coordinate with Clinic staff to ensure that processes are uniformly implemented in all clinics
  • 2. Clinic Visit and Monitoring the MIS activities
  • Undertake regular visits to the field to support implementation of M&E and to identify where improvements are needed
  • Guide the regular sharing of M&E findings with project staff and other relevant stakeholders
  • Prepare regular reports for project management, highlighting areas of concern, ensure documentation for review at sharing meetings
  • Check that monitoring data are discussed in regular progress review meetings, ensuring that any future actions are planned and implemented
  • 3. Staff Capacity Development on M&E
  • Enhance monitoring and data analysis capacity of NGO and clinic staff
  • Assist clinic staff to implement the project database effectively
  • Organize training for clinic level staff on MIS
  • Support the Clinic Manager and other NGO staff to identify catchment areas and calculate catchment area population
  • Assist clinic managers and NGOs staff to analyze performance indicators and close performance gaps
  • 4. Reporting and Documentation
  • Produce monthly/quarterly/semi-annual/yearly programmatic reports on service statistics for submission to NHSDP and government as per requirement
  • Assist clinic staff in preparing and timely submission of monthly reports to NHSDP and government as per requirement
  • Review all monthly reports submitted by the clinics and provide feedback to them on time
  • Analyze data and assist in preparing project progress reports as per program needs
  • Prepare field visit reports based on M&E findings and share with clinic staff and NGO management
  • Guide the regular sharing of M&E findings with project staff and other relevant stakeholders
  • 5. Coordination with NHSDP, NGO HQ, Clinic and GOB
  • Coordinate with other SH network NGOs, NHSDP and other NGOs as relevant
  • Link with Upazilla and District level Government Officials
  • Ensure that MCP, TIAHRT and Helms policy are strictly maintained in all clinics
  • Coordinate with quality assurance and compliance unit
  • Carry out other programmatic duties as assigned.
Education Requirement:
  • Graduation/ Post Graduation Degree in Social Sciences such as Statistics, Economics, Demography, Anthropology or equivalent with combination of qualifications and practical experience in relevant field
Additional Requirement:
  • At least 3-5 years' experience, preferably in an M&E position in a health sector project
  • Strong IT knowledge and background
  • Experience working in partnership /collaboration with district and upazila level Health & FP Officers and Union parishad.
  • Good command of relevant computer skills, especially MS Office applications and data management applications. Working ability of SPSS will be an added advantage
  • Ability to organize and conduct training programs, with good facilitation skills
  • Good skills in planning, organizing and managing monitoring activities

  • Working knowledge on both English and Bengali (written and oral)
