  • Ensuring that the WASH Project implementation plan is executed jointly with the partners and stakeholders analysing risk and success factors, delivered timely and effectively to ensure sustainability of the project interventions to completion and beyond;
  • Facilitating the barrier analysis process and capture communities best practices and, accordingly planning and supporting partners to conduct behaviour change initiatives;
  • Facilitating a process that leads to develop better relationship and communication between WaSH Committee, UP and DPHE to ensure functionality of drinking water sources and sanitation facilities for the Coastal & Haor dwellers;
  • Ensuring water qualities are tested from recognized laboratory after installation of water point and prior to constructing platform, making sure communities are accessing safe water from newly installed water points;
  • Enabling a friendly and collaborative working culture within Concern and partner's team, actively sharing information and knowledge for effective learning;
  • Developing training modules and facilitate capacity building training for partners staff and school teachers, so that project deliverables are ensured in a systematic manner;
  • Ensuring that the partner's staff fully understands the objectives, outcomes and strategies that are expected from them and they are fully aware of the success criteria of WaSH project which pertain to their work;
  • Conducting follow-up visit to previously implemented projects and develop follow-up report for external sharing, as well taking necessary actions for ensuring functionality of water points;
  • Ensuring community participation, voices of grass root people are heard and taking into account to retain social values, cultural practices and technical appropriateness are given priority consideration for effective development of water and sanitation services;
  • Learning from experience through monitoring and evaluation so as to continually improve the programme quality in line to the project results;
Education Requirement:
  • Diploma in Engineering with experience in relevant field or Bachelor degree in social science
Additional Requirement:
  • Six (06) years progressively responsible professional work experience with at least three (03) years at mid-level in the area of project implementation, monitoring and evaluation;
  • Working experience in development field with INGO/NGO related experience in WaSH project implementation is preferable;
  • Solid understanding of Poverty eradication and Disaster Risks Reduction initiatives in Bangladesh;
  • Experience on training module development and training facilitation skills are essential;
  • Working experience through partnership is an advantage.
