Responsibility:
  • Assist with gender analysis, coordinate activities, arrange meetings, support data collection and translation, and provide input into key findings and recommendations
  • Provide key insight into the local Bangladesh context
  • Participate in team meetings, key informant interviews, group meetings, and site visits
  • Participate in presenting the findings to USAID or other stakeholders
  • Be responsible for addressing pertinent comments provided by USAID/Bangladesh or other stakeholders.  
  • Draft the sections of the report relevant to his/her expertise and role in the team.
Education Requirement:
  • Should have a degree in the natural sciences or gender studies
Additional Requirement:
  • Should have a degree in the natural sciences or gender studies
  • S/he will have more than 7 years of practical experience preferably with livelihood activities, resilience to natural hazards, natural resource management and climate change
  • S/he will have strong understanding about gender integration and women empowerment,
  • S/he must be aware of USAID programming policy and gender analysis requirements
  • Should have expertise implementing, analyzing, and synthesizing interviews
  • Fluency in Bangla is required
  • Good oral and written skills in English are required.
