  • This position will act as Divisional Team Lead, is responsible for leading the implementation of divisional level planned Social and Behavior Change Communication (SBCC) and community mobilization activities.
  • The Manager will lead mapping of SBCC stakeholders and ongoing SBCC activities in Chittagong and Sylhet division.
  • S/he will support in development and implementation of divisional SBCC plan jointly with key stakeholders, also will provide strategic guidance to community clinic support groups/volunteers mobilization activities to supplement work of trained FWAs and HAs in the respective division.
  • S/he will be actively engaged in development and functioning of divisional/district level SBCC coordination committees and organize join supervisory visits for the members to monitor the progress and quality of SBCC and community mobilization activities.
  • S/he will work in close collaboration with the Advisor-Community Mobilization and divisional/ district/upazila health and family planning managers. 
Education Requirement:
  • Master’s Degree, preferably in Social Science/Public Health/ Mass Communication/Anthropology.


Additional Requirement:
  • At least 6 years’ experience, including 3 years in management positions, preferably in the field of community mobilization and SBCC activity.
  • Experience in working with Govt. senior health and family planning managers and policy makers is essential.
  • S/he is expected to have the capacity to coordinate and collaborate effectively with different government units/departments MOH&FW at divisional/district level.
  • Sound knowledge on SBCC and community mobilization related to maternal, new born, adolescent and child health (MNCAH) and Family Planning and better understanding of national health strategies/programs.
  • Excellent skill in coordinating SBCC activity and community engagement relevant to MNCAH-FP program.
  • Computer proficiency in MS-Office.
  • Master’s Degree, preferably in Social Science/Public Health/ Mass Communication/Anthropology.
