Technology and Application sales representatives to qualify and close new business on Enterprise solutions. Provides specific industry or product expertise to facilitate the closing of deals within sales representative’s territory. Interacts with sales team to architect the solution, and develop and execute solution strategies for market. Manages solution opportunities to obtain appropriate and necessary resources for all qualified opportunities. Leads teams in the pre-sales/ post-sales/ sales process for establishing market visibility and deal visibility. Presents/ demonstrates solution to high level clients and industry conference attendees. May provide training to field sales on industry/ solutions. Builds and maintains a network and up to date specific industry or product knowledge. Work closely with sales team in regards to technical proposals and pitches to customers, Attend meetings with sales team in order to support the technical discussion sessions, Put together technical cases (diagram, TCO, and proposals) for the sales teams to support their proposals, Work closely and collaboratively with customers to devise effective solutions, Ensure that the company’s services can meet the customer’s requirements, Work closely with customers to understand and gather requirements, Reply to customers following requests for information and proposal requests, Present proposals to customers alongside members of the sales team, Provide ongoing support for customers post implementation. Initiate, coordinate, and implement proof-of-concepts with customers
1.) Industry Specific Knowledge
2.) Functional Best Practice Knowledge: Industry specific best practice knowledge in at least one of the key solution areas (IT strategy, Enterprise servers, business development, sales strategy, etc.),
3.) Communication/ Problem Solving Skills: Exceptional business problem solving combined with strong interpersonal skills. Outstanding oral and presentation communication skills.
4.) Related certifications must require.
Acknowledged authority within the Corporation. Provides leadership and expertise in the development of new products/ services/ processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. 5 years applicable experience preferred. Subject matter expertise in industry/ product space. Knowledge of key industry leaders and management. Knowledge of Enterprise Solutions competition. Presentation and product demonstration experience. Previous consultative selling experience preferred. Excellent communication, negotiating, and closing skills with prospects and customers. Travel may be needed. Minimum BSc required in related field.
This person will be responsible for assisting with the go to market strategy for the Servers & Storage business. The position requires the person to work closely with our customers, sales teams, ESG, product management & engineering to best understand the industry trends and opportunities and how to uniquely position Enterprise products to take advantage of those opportunities and prepare the sales team to do the same
